I've dropped my weights down at the gym, trying to work on my technique. Squatting 3 x 6 reps of 100kg (220lb) but going deep, keeping chest and head up, not coming too far forward and nice strong stance with feet shoulder width apart and pushing knees apart
played soccer again after a good 4-5 month hiatus.... running 3-4 miles on the treadmill (along with the entire workout after) at the gym just doesn't compare to an actual physical activity. Im tired as all hell and i already took a couple naps
I over did it yesterday playing hockey with my son, something is fucked up in the front of my quads now.... I'm hoping it goes away on its own, but its pretty bad right now, can barely bend my leg.
i put up new 1RM for dumbell bench, decline dumbell bench, and tricep rope pulldown. i was pumped! after easter my food budget is way down so im naturally losing calories from that but im still making gains in my exercises and now im actually seeing a bump on both sides of my arms and reshaping in my chest.
Anyone give themselves all out cheat days as far as eating? I don't cheat (The only cheat I do with my Insanity Nutrition Plan is adding 2 tablespoons of Light Ranch to salads that are otherwise 'sposed to be dry, I can't stand a dry salad.), but I figured the days that I'm gonna disregard my eating plan, is shit like 4th Of July, Thanksgiving, My Birthday, Christmas, New Year's Eve, Etc. Probably Lollapalooza too, way too hard to lug all my healthy food to an all day event like that.
Nah, I been good. Haven't had any urges at all. And I get my daily sweet fix from the Protein Bar, I mean it's basically like a healthy candy bar lol. One thing I do miss is Chipotle and Taco Bell doe.
Fitness is pretty much what you do/eat about 80% of the time. I've even heard cheating occasionally can help your metabolism. A few cheat meals or days off won't hurt, but be warned, if you do it once, it makes it easier to do it again.
While its good to be dedicated to your diet, sticking to it too hardcore is kinda off putting to other people. Sometimes its easier to just stfu and have a piece of cake than to turn it into a 30 minutes of trying to explain your diet and fitness routine.
fuck that.... stick to your diet as strictly as you want. If others can't be that disciplined with what they eat; don't let them guilt you into cheating on what you eat.

It's not even about guilt. The guys bring in pizza or doughnuts to work, and I won't eat that shit. But if Im at my nieces birthday party, I'm not going to carry on about how I'm not scheduled to eat for another 6 hours, I don't want the sugar, the nutritional value of the white flour used to make the cake etc. If I'm out for a buddys bachelor party, I'm not gonna be a dick and say I can't drink with ya cuz I've already had my calorie intake for the day. If Aunt Betty spends 6 hours baking some shit for me cuz she hasn't seen me in 3 years, I'd rather burn a few more calories my next workout than cause drama. I have no problem sticking to a diet, using excuses like "yeah, I'll eat some in a little bit" or "I just had some" etc. Im just not so hardcore about it that I act like a douche socially.
