Tbh I've only played Wild Hunt and then some of Assassins of Kings. Need to give that one another go but the gameplay improvements that Wild Hunt made are hard to go back from.

Did you get the complete edition of Wild Hunt? The DLCs aside from being very worthwhile campaigns also include some very helpful skills/perks that cut down on the more annoying aspects of the game like health regeneration
