Bruh this show is pissing me off. Fucking nothing has happened. It’s already been 4 episodes of damn near all flashbacks and then wit 3 episodes left you air episode 1 of The Mandalorian season 3 instead smh. Disney+ continuing the trend of doing nothing but a long drawn out set-up in season 1.
Still no plans to read it, but someone who has, PLEASE tell me these guys are as badass as they look. Might be the coolest looking dudes I've seen in Disney.

Ah. I just started reading the current Canon comics like 2 days ago through Marvel Unlimited so I probably won't catch up to the new stuff for awhile
Again….The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2 was fucking fantastic, but I officially give zero fucks about Boba Fett and what happens to him in this last episode.
Bad news when the 2 best episodes of your season are actually episodes of a separate show and character.

I was just wondering. I love badass too angry to die archetypes and got those vibes from this guy.
Finished Choices Of One last night. Pretty good, yet again kind of inconsequential (kind of a trend for all the material between ANH and ESB so far). But it, like Allegiance, had some things keeping it down from being "great".
I really like that it focuses again on Mara Jade and the Hand Of Judgement. I like seeing what they were up to prior to the Thrawn Trilogy. I like that it depicts Stormtroopers as competent, deadly, soldiers. If the entire book just focused on these characters, it would have been great.
But we also get secondary, and even third-ary plots with Luke, Han, Leia, and the rebels, and then Pelleon, Thrawn, and Nuso Esva. And this kind of thing annoys me. I'm starting to notice that with Zahn's writing a bit - he doesnt need to include every one in the same story, and he doesnt need to add the cameo zingers. I can also tell Han is his favorite character, since he's central and written as the main character in most of his books, which is fine, but obvious.
Like this could have been three different books. The coincidence is too much. You mean to tell me Luke, Han, Leia, Wedge, and the rebels all happen to be on the same planet on separate missions at the same time Mara and the Hand of Judgement are on the same planet with different missions at the same time Thrawn and Pelleon are also both there with separate missions? AGAIN!?, considering it happened in Allegiance too. It just makes the universe feel smaller and too coincidental. If Im going to critique Disney for the the cameo fanservice overstuffing of characters, Im going to do it with the EU too.
Still, this book provided another good Mara story, some cool Stormtrooper badassery, some background info for the Hoth raid, and interesting lead in for the Thrawn Trilogy. Overall liked it, but the coincidence took me out of it.
I wish the EU short stories were easier to find. There's WAYYYY too many to hunt down all the Star Wars Insider issues, and RPG source books. Not to mention expensive. I wish they would release them digitally.
