That last little part "Sorry you had to find out this way I guess" really irks me. It's like "Yeah I wasn't interested, but I figured you were simp enough to still put up with my shit. Guess I'll find another poor sod to torture now"
She's a real piece of fuckin work. Only thing she gives a shit sbout is her not being able to go to that show because you backed out and that she can't use you anymore. Imo, she was never really a friend in the first place because friends don't do that bs to other friends
And this is the girl that you were going to dedicate your life to be friends with.. See man people change you have to be able to adapt and meet new people, it's the only way to eventual happiness

Personally for me, I've always had a easier time getting over someone when I actually find out they aren't who they appeared to be. Her placing more importance on a concert over your friendship, and the casual indifference to the friendship ending should be pretty eye opening to the quality of her character. Good Friendships aren't one sided like that
