I read today that there are actually multiple versions so the spidey movie playing across America. I guess they have a lot of slightly different animations, and different jokes in them.
Jus got back from The Marvels, was better than expected. Admittedly I was least excited about this one out of all the Marvel releases this year, but I see em all by default and I was pleasantly surprised, this delivered. Was better than both the first Captain Marvel, and the standalone Ms. Marvel show. Was also happy to see that there wasn’t any preachy “GIRL POWER!!” pandering that I was expecting, jus a simply female heavy cast, and yes there’s a difference.
Solid 8/10. Great week for Marvel for me. Got the Platinum on the Spider-Man 2 game earlier this week, Loki season 2 finale yesterday, The Marvels today. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Deadpool was absolutely fucking phenomenal. Best of the trilogy no contest whatsoever but also one of the best comic book movies ever made. MCU did Deadpool RIGHT.
Kang was now dropped instead of recasting him, Doom is the new big bad, Avengers 5 is now called Doomsday instead of The Kang Dynasty, and RDJ was cast as Doom.
This is fucking crazy. And the only way that’s not gonna be weird is if they use the multiverse shit to say this is a Tony Stark variant from a different timeline that went bad.
I’m gutted about Kang tho. I would assume they’re gonna treat his death in Quantumania as final now. And to be clear, I did wanna see MCU Doom and I figured that was coming anyways in Fantastic Four, but damn not like this and completely replacing Kang. I was thirsty to see final form Kang. 🤦🏻♂️

I’m happy cause Kang was never the big bad in the comics when it came to this or Battleworld it was all Doom so they are doing it right. I did want to see what they would do with Kang but that’s gone lol

Yea it’s not a bad replacement by any means, really the only other Thanos level threats you could do would be Kang, Doom, or Galactus, but still I wanted to see all of em lmao.
The hype is definitely back for me in full force. Forever a Marvel head and I’ve watched everything day one and stayed up to date, but while I haven’t been nearly as negative as a lotta mfs have been about the recent releases, it’s still been a long string of 7s and 8s without anything that truly blew your mind for a while. New Deadpool changed that and I’m fanning the fuck out again lmao.
The MCU hasnt been good since Endgame, and even that movie was just alright. They've gotten too preoccupied with multiverses and big fanservice moments that people freak out about for a few days and then move on from. They forgot how to write good stories and compelling characters.
This Dr. Doom is 100% going to be some evil Tony Stark variant. Why the fuck do I care about some watered down version of Tony AND a watered down version of Dr. Doom? One that now cheapens Tony's death from Endgame.
Also with no Fantastic Four to build the character up as an actual threat and introduce him right. It's right out of DC's playbook - just jump in with no build up, so there's no payoff.
Not only that, but we havent gotten a real Dr. Doom since 2005 and 2015, and those movies sucked. We'll never have a good, REAL portrayal of Dr. Doom in movies now. Cool? I guess?
They should have done the actual versions of all these characters before jumping into the "what if" multiverse "this is our interpretation of the character" mess they have going now.
And you cant just say "read the comics if you want the actual stories/characters" because the comics are even WORSE and havent been worth reading for over a decade.

Should have stopped reading at “And even that movie was just alright”, because that killed your entire argument right off the bat, but Fantastic Four IS coming before Doomsday to build him up. An entire year before actually.
Do your research before blindly hating jus to hate cause it leaves everything weightless.
