Also I agree with Dime watch season 1 episode 5 "Rookies" its a good early episode and actually the first episode chronologically. Thats what got me hooked
The darksaber came from Clone Wars? I lost my shit when it got busted out in The Mandalorian but only because I was always obsessed wit the idea of a black saber ever since I was a kid so finally seeing one was fucking cold. Didn’t know it was already used before.

Oh yeah dude. I dont wanna spoil shit but it appears in 6-8 episodes in Clone Wars. And it actually has a pretty badass backstory to it.
MC, watch the video I linked. It explains a lot. It’s a Clone Wars season 2 making of video so mild spoilers, but you can see how deep into the lore they go, how they used original designs and concepts from the movies. You can see their passion for the project they work so hard on. They showed every existence of Mandalorians to George. George told them his vision and they did their best to make it happen. Every design relates back to the armor in someway. It’s a great watch.
Simple answer is George wanted the Fett’s to remain unique and special, not the same as all the rest of the Mandalorians.
Yeah idk how you can lament that Disney ruined Star Wars by corporate greed and poor creative vision, then not give the guy who might be the biggest Star Wars nerd on the planet and George Lucas' right hand man a chance with his tv show that by runtime alone has contributed the most amount of lore to the Star Wars universe. Not saying its perfect because its far from it. But its high points are fucking high

Its also in the Force Unleashed games. And a white one.
I thought that plot line was amazing. It takes nothing away from their betrayal imo. The clones were basically meant as objects. This gives it an emotional pay off as well.
I know what it is and all that. It ruins the betrayal for me because its not a betrayal. They dont have a choice whether to follow the order or not. Pre-chip, its their choice to follow the order, and that makes it so much more impactful imo.

No chip is fucking retarded and I'm glad they changed it. Its such a huge plot hole. You're telling me that hundreds of thousands of clones all knew they were gonna betray the Jedi, they learned to respect the Jedi, yet not one single clone ever told the Jedi of their plans? And the Jedi, who are fucking space wizards with superhuman telepathy and empathy, weren't able to sense this from the clones? Thats straight up pants on head retarded.
The clones choosing to betray the Jedi cheapens the idea of the clones because it makes them inherently unlikable. Why would I like someone that willfully chose to kill off some of ny favorite characters? If that were the case, the clones can go fuck themselves. Watching 7 seasons of a tv show where the clones have an actual true bond with the Jedi and knowing that one day they betray them against their will is FAR more tragic.
