Dude yes! I might re-watch. The Netflix original season was pretty good outside of a three episode arc that focuses on Padma's ex with Jar Jar tagging along lol

My girl has always been a casual Star Wars fan and she's watching the Clone Wars with me and she can just never wrap her head around the fact that the Republic turns into the Empire, Palpatine is the Emporer, and the Clone Troops turn into Stormtroopers. Every time Palpatine was shown and he's talking peacefully with Anakin or Obi Wan this happened basically.
I’m not reading through this thread to avoid mandalorian spoilers but I just wanted to pop in to say with out impending Disney trip we have started to watch through all the Star Wars movies. Started with A New Hope last night. We tried this a couple years ago and just stopped after empire strikes back becuause if chasing down the movies but now that they are all on Disney+ it will be easy.
What do you guys think is better order of when they were released or number of movie?
We are doing 456,123,789(when it comes out)
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
If I were introducing someone to the series, I would honestly suggest machete order which is 4-5-2-3-6 and cuts 1. But if you're a completionist release order is the only way to go.
Long story short the spinoffs are treated separately because the whole point of machete order is to frame the story in the context of Luke's journey, so watching them or not doesn't change anything.
I’m not sure I understand why you would watch it in the order mentioned above
Because like Jay said it just does a better job of making the story about Luke's internal struggle with facing Vader. You get introduced to Vader and see them fight, then you get a flashback of Anakin turning into Vader and betraying his Master, then after you see the final conflict between Luke and Anakin and Anakin being Redeemed
I guess it makes sense but then you lose out on how Anakin was found and why they chose to take him to training (albeit retarded medichlorian shit). Not to mention one of the best pieces of music in all Star Wars (Duel Of Fates), a sick light saber battle, how Obi-Wan wound up as his master and some pretty cool pod racing shit. It's worth Jar Jar.

Watch the movies then read the article in the link I posted. It explains it pretty clearly. For the most part Episode 1 isn't relevant at all and removing it actually fixes a lot of problems with the story.

Yeah, absolutely none of that is essential to the story lol, and I love me some Duel of the Fates. It hurts more than it helps.

4,5,6,1,2,3
The only other worthwhile order is the Machete Order which is 4, 5, 2, 3, 6 but not for your first time
