This one will pretty much be the deciding factor on how the anthology films will do. Rogue one was good. Still flawed, not great but entertaining. Is this next one is a stinker the rest will follow suit like garbage ass Last Jedi
Not that excited for the Solo movie tbh. There are 1,000 more interesting stories they could tell than 12 parsecs, Chewies life debt and winning the falcon. I'm sure it will be enjoyable but I'd rather have a Thrawn movie or something.
I'd love an Obe Wan movie but there isn't much of that story left to tell. Old man Ben on Tattoine isn't gonna be much of an exciting story either.

The stand alone movies can all have their own tone, pace and feel to them and it will make no difference. It's too jarring to change all of that in a trilogy though. It would be better if they didn't have different directors working on movies in the same trilogy. TFA set so many new pieces in place just to have TLJ do fuck all with them. The two films just don't feel like they fit together.

They needed a Kevin Feige to keep it all cohesive.
It just seemed like the biggest thing TLJ tried to do was undo everything that TFA set up at every turn.
Big climax handing over light saber to Luke -throws it away haha Luke training Rey - Only on where green milk comes from Why did Maz have the light saber? - who cares have a casino scene instead Vader type mask for Kylo (love or hate it) - Get rid of it pointlessly Emperor type Snoke - dead with no backstory Ben Solo turned on Luke - Nope it was Luke the whole time lol Rey's parents - buncha nobodies psyched u out
Instead of using one movie to make the other stronger and more coherent, they made them both worse and no left no clear path for the third to follow. It will be interesting to see how much of this , if any, will get cleaned up in the 3rd movie.
They went back and made changes to the OT to make it flow better, and now that's how everyone remembers it.
The original Emperor for example
Perhaps this trilogy will get the same treatment some day.
Yeah basically Rian Johnson pissed all over what JJ did which is stupid because JJ is doing the next one. So will JJ have to fix this mess or will he just roll with it?

Correction: Han ONLY shoots. I have the theatrical versions on bluray and have been watching them. Greedo doesnt shoot at all. Han just murders him and walks away.
Exactly. There's not even a debate. No one shot first because Han was the only one that took a shot. Idk I'd like to see an Obi-Wan movie just because there have been rumors saying that Ewan McGregor would reprise the role and I fucking loved him as Obi-Wan.
I guess if we get a side story, I kinda wouldn't mind a film solely focused on the Palpatine era of the Sith. Or even an ancient Sith film about Darth bane, Nihilus, Sideous etc.
