It definitely was crazy. Although, I’m not sure how I feel about it. I mean, all these seasons fearing the white walkers... I just feel like it was a bit too easy to kill the army of the dead all things considered.
Still fucking awesome though.
Death is not the worst of evils.
You can't be down, when you're always high.
The only real complaints I have all really goes back to the shortened seasons. The cut from 10 episodes a season down to 7 and 6 episodes for the last two seasons. Now everything feels too rushed because there is only 3 episodes left.
HBO has a making of/inside the episode type thing up now on HBO GO that is worth a look. They break down how each act of the episode was a different genre to help prevent battle viewing fatigue. Suspense>Horror>Action.
Same guy who directed this episode also did episode 5 this season.
All these people shocked she went Mad Queen. Literally her only character motivation since day 1 was "the throne is mine". Have we forgotten she happily watched her brother die, and she has slave soldiers?
Ive always hated Dany. Least interesting character in the whole show.
