YO! ok so long story short...last week my wife destroyed our iMac with the audio files on it...that's why I've been MIA....That friday after I said on here that I dropped a dime on her ass she came home and was shitting kittens over the fact that her principal and the assistant principal came to her room and said that they had gotten a report of her (my wife) engaging in improper conduct/contact with some of her students....they said they had to do an investigation, but told her don't worry, if she's done nothing wrong, then she'll be ok....My wife was shaking like a leaf all weekend; couldn't eat, sleep, etc....I said well if you get busted, it's your own doing, and I feel bad to a point for you, but again, you made the choices you did. SOOO, Monday gets here and she calls me after school and says good news, the principal came in and told me that since we (my wife and I) are good friends with the second highest person in the school district, (I can't give his name) that she shouldn't worry, he's got my wife's back, blah blah blah...The thing is, they were investigting the fact that my wife took a few students (with parental OK) to a movie last week, and that the kid she had the affair with was in the group, and another student was suspicious of how he (the kid she was fucking) was acting and talking around my wife. ACTUALLY then the school appears to have not even acted on my tip, OR they were just lying to my wife about WHERE the tip came from...I called the school board; my wife said they told her that someone called the main office at her actual school.
Tuesday (I think), my wife crashed my cpu...it won't boot up, just either a colored screen or black, and the fan runs super loud, never starts up, nothing....she swears she didn't do anything, and I dunno if she did, becasue i don't think she would know what to do to destroy a computer aside from taking a hammer to it or some shit.
For what it's worth: She says she got a big wake up call when the school was on to her, and she has stopped hiding her phone, staying out late, etc....If i was betting, I would say she's done with this kid, and she swears she is....She has been open and honest with me, and admits that she has fucked up our entire family's life over this stupid fling...I don't trust her worht a shit, but i want to believe her because she's my wife...We are trying to work things out, but are still at square ZERO. I don't know what will happen and am basically living day to day with this shit....My constant anger and verbal attacks on her are taking their toll, and her demand for immediate trust is making me hurt even more over her betrayal...
YOU GUYS ARE THE FUCKING SHIT FOR LISTENING TO MY CRAP AND OFFERING YOU INSIGHT AND GOOD WISHES...
for what my advice is worth, i still say you shouldnt work it out.. as much as it absolutely sucks she has completely dissolved your trust in her and to me its just one of those things that for the rest of your life will drive you crazy.. you will always have this little voice in the back of your head wondering if she is doing something dishonest and i just dont see how one could/ would want to live that way for a life time.. i know there is a tremendous amount of things at stake but that is just how i personally feel about it.. i would still leave her..
Nola you make an excellent point, as do all the folks on here who say to bail.....trust me, that' still Option A....There are so many variables to this equation, and so many routes to go, honestly, right now we are just two ships passing in the night....trying to make money, raise these fuckin kids, and survive what she's done. I for one have no energy to either FIGHT it out or WORK it out. I'm fuckin drained. shit is lying quiet for the moment.

Im happy you recognize the getting better at hiding it aspect without being told it. From my experiences, I've learned the hard way that without proper punishment, we as humans are inclined to drift away from the mistake only to return to prior ways. I'm all for public humiliation in this case. She needs a proper lesson here. Justice was not served at all here.

the fact that you have kids only further proves my point to break up... how could a person who has decided to start a family and ask another person to trust them enough to share their entire ONE life they have on this earth with them and then go and do and say the things she did.. i could never ever trust her or forgive her again

Growing up my dad screwed around which lead to my parents divorce, but after a few years of being seperated they got back together. Which has taught me that people can work things out, but it takes time. Good luck with your decision, I'm sure you know if you both want it to work, it wont happen overnight..

no, I confronted her two weeks ago with the recordings, so if she's still up to no good, she'd be looking for some type of device...honestly, I'm done trying to catch her...I got the proof I needed, and I hit her with the truth and what I know, so that was the end result I wanted...In a way I hope I can't recover the files, because I know that if I got angry enough, I'd send them out to her entire family, the police, the school, and everyone else...and that would only end up hurting me and the kids even more...I told her mother everything, as well as her best friend who had been covering for her (unwittingly), and they are both on my side....
Tbh, it's not hard to find out how to kill a computer with a simple web search. Don't underestimate anyone with their back to the wall. If I were you Travis, I'd get her out of the house ASAP before she does anymore damage. Your number one duty right now should be to protect yourself and your kids. She's abandoned the family afaic
