I dont think they had a shirt with dates. only the SUN BAT HER shirts in black and white. they had vinyl of the bosse de nage split, RTJ, and sunbather
venue has no more than 18 parking spots, and I arrived taking the 2nd to last one, with the final one claimed about 30 seconds after I shut off my engine #:-S guess the first band canceled
drainbow - cool but nothing out of the ordinary. a lot like another local band called dead canyon, but a little more doom oriented. 7/10
sorxe - instrumentally pretty great. kind of like a slightly faster yob, but the vocals were pretty mediocre. it sounded like throwing a white boy death metal frontman on the mic while the rest of the band played doomy stuff. past that it was enjoyable. 8/10
[went next door to the circle k to buy a pair of earplugs after their set]
the body - a unique and hellish experience. first time wearing earplugs for a band, and it was cool I guess. I took them off for a couple songs to get the real feel of a wall-of-sound band, that was a massive experience. like jumping into a cold pool from a hot tub. cot. set was cool. wish I would have seen them like razor did with the assembly of light choir and played a body/empty hearth, but those are my only two small complaints. it was fucking punishing. 9.5/10
set:
ruiner song of sarin, the brave the ebb and flow of tides in a sea of ash worship the city of the magnificent jewel

Our PR is covering the show, I'm just hoping the guy Nick can go to Intronaut with me the day before, that way I could ride with him to Deafheaven.
