It's funny because there are few bands out there I hate more than AC/DC
<_> i dont get ur problem with them.. i mean i know theyre not the most amazing and talented group ever, but they were a major inspiration for many bands.. plus theres far worse music than them in the world, at least theyre rock.
Angus knows 4 chords tops, and vocalist sucks dick.
And being an inspirational band doesn't mean shit. We've gone over this before. I acknowledge that they've had a huge impact on the music world, but I don't think their music is good. Just because other people like them doesn't mean I should. Going by that logic, we're all dumbfucks for not liking artists like Madona or ABBA

well he's a good guitarist for the brand of rock they're in, and they are good performers, they put on a good show. im not saying you have to like them, im just trying to have sense about it. plus they have like the best selling album of all time. and ull say oh well then we should like lady gaga because she sells lots of records, but this is different, because groups like gaga are super popular for a while then become completely obsolete, but the recoeds theyve set have lasted for 30 something years. and some people would say that metal vocalists suck dick, so its all a matter of opinion. and while their most of their music does sound the same and i wouldnt buy every album of theirs, their big hits were still great songs. so yeah..
Best selling album of all time is Thriller by Michael Jackson.
And you're right, it's all a matter of opinion. And my opinion is that AC/DC is on overglorified, shitty band that writes shitty songs.
And if record sales for a new artist don't mean anything, why should they mean anything for an older artist? Chances are that the majority of those sales came about their hey-day, not in the past 10 years or so.
As I've said, I acknowledge that their music is loved by almost every band I listen to and that it inspires them. But I still think they write terrible music.
