Powerglove was up next. As usual, they threw out swords and a hammer during Metal Kombat, but they only had a few. I don't know if that's because their van brokedown or if that's just what they do, but I was hoping to get one.
They only threw out 2 swords and a hammer here. The guy next to me got one of the swords.
Oh. I wish they would've scattered them some more. They mainly threw them in the middle.

Yeah I was hoping they would throw a few more out. But the ones they did throw out were across the crowd rather than in just one place. I just wish the guy next to me wasn't so tall, then I probably would've gotten the sword.
Not mentioned in Slaps review. =(( U mad that i got there before you?
Well I first posted that on Metalsetlists, and you're not there so I thought it'd be kind of weird to mention meeting up with you. Nobody would know what I'm talking about except Jay and Wine.
I ain't even mad. Just surprised. I'll add it in >:D<

Very empty show, probably the least full I've seen the place since the local show I attended a few years ago. Nevertheless, it was a great time.
Some local band called Phoenix and Wizards or something like that opened. They had no vocalist but they sounded pretty cool. 7/10
Blackguard - Not being in a club setting definitely took away from their performance. They were still fun to watch and they got the crowd going. Caught one of their picks, though, so that was pretty cool. 8/10
Powerglove - My all time favorite live band returned to the stage with just as much energy as when they played at the Clubhouse. They had to use Blackguard's gear because apparently they had major van issues. So as a result, they had everyone chant "Fuck that van!" rather than "Fuck that bird!" I was also the one to start the circle pit during the Pokemon theme song. Great times. 11/10
Symphony X - I'm not a power metal fan, but they were bad-fucking-ass. It was kind of a boring set, but it was a very very good kind of boring if you know what I mean. Mesmerizing is more like it. I managed to get back up on the rail (they show was still pretty empty), and about halfway through The Odyssey as I was headbanging, Russell points at me, looks from one side of the audience to the other, and mouths "Look at this motherfucker!" and in the end, he threw me a water bottle with a setlist wrapped around it (pictured below). I'm procrastinating drinking the water...lol. Very fun time. Ended up catching a pick from their guitarist too 9/10
