i went there...so i can just go to the primary and vote and be able to vote for paul? i have a buddy who has been all into this (acutally got me into paul) and hes been saying all this time you had to register as a republican....but yeah the Michigan SOS site says its open so.....

It depends on your state. Not that I know from experience, but Im guessing Michigan doesnt ask you what your party affiliation is. so when you show up to vote, you prove you are a registered voter, and then they ask if you want the R or D primary ballot. You only get to pick one.
In NY I had to declare myself either a R or a D. I went with R.

well i would do it just so i can vote for paul....i mean it really doesn't bind you to voting just republican...i need to find out if i have to do this by january 21st or not...im a registered voter already tho
