when i used to warm up before a legit soccer game or just when I weight train now (our league ended).... i'd listen to shit like bloodbath, amorphis, or various techno songs that really get me pumped up.
If that is the case check out the couch to 5k link, but burpees and actually running are about the same impact on the joints, if it is that fucked you probably shouldn't be running on it either.
