The government is eventually going to release the photo. Weather its now or 10 years the photos are going to come out one day. So yeah, they are dragging it out.
The majority of the country would like to see the photos. Thinking it will do anymore harm then good is besides the point. If they wanted to keep it from possibly causing harm, then they should have just kept his death secret all along. I mean the entire country pretty much celebrated his death, OBL supporters are going to try and do what theyre gonna do anyway. And I still dont velieve it has anything to do with the photo being a trophy. He's the one who murdered 3,000 people. They should just release it. I still see no issue in releasing it now rather then 10 years and 100's of court battles later till they finally release it. Obama prolly just waiting to release it right before the election...

What was wrong with that statement? Obama might very well be waiting to release the photos closer to the election, these doods do anything to win. They spend most of their time trashing the other party instead of telling us what theyre going to do for us, so I dont see how that statement is pointless. I have put thought into that, and I really dont see what great harm it's going to cause releasing a picture of OBL's body. It wont cause anything. Al Qaeda is still going to continue their terrorist acts, or at least try to.... It will just give peace of mind to a country. I disagree. I believe every human has an inalienable right to their own life, liberty, and property (or pursuit of happiness if you prefer that wording). If a a person infringes upon anthers inalienable right to life, liberty, and property then that person should answer to a jury of their peers to determine their guilt and the appropriate consequences.
Had the word 'terrorist' been around back in the 1700's, I would imagine our very founding fathers would have been labeled as such by the English. I am in no way comparing OBL to our founding fathers. I am only pointing out that the word 'terrorist' is a matter of perspective.
