Lmfao it was revealed today that Epic Games damn near had to sue Sony for them to allow crossplay on Fortnite. Everybody else was happily ready and willing to shake hands, Sony needed to be threatened. Of course. Fucking faggots. PS5 and beyond exclusives ever go day and date or emulation somehow takes a gigantic step forward and you’re able to pirate them, PS5 is being instantly sold and I’m never looking back. These mfs give me a sick feeling in my stomach. How fucking slimy can you get.

Epic games only wants crossplay because they get to control the servers. Every PC game thats crossplay between Steam and Epic needs to go through Epic's servers even, which creates a lot of problems. Two terrible companies (Sony and Epic)
I mean if it’s an Epic developed game, they SHOULD want it on their servers. It’s not like Fortnite is jus Epic Games Store exclusive on PC and developed elsewhere, that’s a homemade game. But at least it’s on their servers and also universally crossplay. The Sony move in that scenario would be to keep it on their servers only, keep it PC exclusive and only purchasable on their specific storefront, and only Sony branded PCs could run it.

Im saying even games Epic doesnt create NEED to operate through Epic's servers. Even if you play on Steam with crossplay turned off.
I'm close to 100 hours in Elden Ring and am STILL finding new locations in early parts of the map.
As great as the game is, its waaayyy too big. The map size alone, mixed with how easy it is to completely miss NPCs and quests, and how obtuse and cryptic quest completion is in this game makes doing quests entirely too tedious and not worth doing. I still have a huge chunk to the left of the Mountaintop Of Giants that I haven't even gotten to yet.
I definitely prefer the more condensed design of previous Souls games.
