Finished Timesplitters: Future Perfect. Series done. Great trilogy. Would love to see it brought back with online multiplayer, preferably on PC. Still, probably the best made-for-console FPS aside from Halo.
And now Halo is on PC so yea... Timesplitters on PC needs to happen.
Cold War campaign was actually super fucking dope. I’d give it the edge over Modern Warfare’s campaign cause of extra length, but also because of writing. It’s nothing completely mindblowing, but the twist at the end was something I never would have expected out of a COD game and was legitimately surprising and interesting. For a series where the plot only ever went as far as “Make shit go boom and look cool doing it.”, it’s definitely the most complex their writing has ever been. Took about 9 hours flat wit the side missions included, and that was without a lot of dying and restarting, (I played on Veteran) so wasn’t as short as reviews made it out to be. The 2 ending thing was dope, and the “bad” ending was actually the most satisfying out of the 2. There’s also a mission about 2 3rds thru that is open ended and can be completed in a multitude of ways, and it no joke plays out like a Hitman mission. Was a nice change of pace and something I never would’ve expected in a COD game.
Maybe. Tbh it’s been so long since I played the Black Ops campaign that I don’t really remember what happened lmao I’d have to watch a recap. Makes sense tho since this is considered a direct sequel.
A year or two ago I bought a PS1, PS2, 2 controllers for each, and all those games for $80 from some guy on Craigslist. I only wanted a PS2 to play MVP baseball 05 and Street Vol 2.
