It is human nature to be unhappy. Fear/sadness/anger/aggression - those are instincts. Constantly attempting to better your life, not staying satisfied, furthering your experiences and skills, always looking for the next opportunity - that is not staying satisfied. That is a norm.
Since we are constantly dissatisfied with some aspect of our lives, "true" life happiness cannot exist. You can be happy in a moment. Find pleasure in an activity. But achieving happiness in life is impossible.

The opposite of tragedy does not. That much is optional, and circumstantial.
