    If you're looking to start cheap you are much better off getting an older, used record player than a new, portable player from Wal Mart or Amazon.

    These are the ones from that list that I've already played. Santana and Joplin have gotten multiple spins already. I'm over the moon with collection so far. Everything I've played so far has been good. Best $60 I've spent in possibly forever.

    Another friend gave me a pair of tower speakers with some 12's in them too. Now we really have some nice sound. I really can't believe how cheaply everything came together for me in the end.

    One hell of a first fix.
