if distance is an issue you may want to look into bluetooth receivers. not cheap but it beats the clutter and frustration of tripping over cords lol. plus since its a modern turntable the sound probably wont suffer that much. just a guess tho.
if you dont mind the hanging up of the wires then thats the way to go for sure. im a neat freak so i wouldnt like the look of that for me but thats just me lol.
