It's the law that you have to sign up. There's no way around it. I don't know if it's just me but if you tell me I HAVE to sign something that has anything to do with military/navy/marines/ect...I won't do it and I think it sucks. My great Uncle has been trying to get me to go into the Navy... that won't happen =D

i dot think women have to men have to but it doesn't guarantee ur gonna serve its like putting ur name into a giant pool of names and when theres a draft they will just pic names
It's mandatory to sign up... not go to boot camp, live in barracks with 50 other assholes and be isolated from family. (Which is what MANDATORY MILITARY SERVICE is)

you're over 18 right?....i remember getting my selective service card in the mail the day of my 18th b-day. I have no idea where it is now but it was just my name and some ID number. In case i was ever called up (if a Draft ever occurred)
there are many ways around it if ur disabled in any way they wont take u my friends arm wont go straight cause he broke it once and they wouldnt take him

In today's day and age, that could change. But this is what I think is funny. Everyone keeps telling me that there won't be another draft and blah blah blah, but I think there will be. It's only a matter of time when you look at it.
