I liked it a lot. 1st was definitely the best but this was a pretty damn good sequel. I actually enjoyed where they placed the twist cause it’s out of the norm.
I watched the third and fourth Harry Potter movies today. Its been over 10 years since I last watched or read them. Still been enjoyable, but man the movies pacing is so fast, and there's a lot that doesnt make sense, or doesnt feel fully fleshed out. Im going to do a book reread too, Im sure those are more detailed and thought out.
I was fucking obsessed with Harry Potter as a kid and while I still enjoy it now a lot doesn't hold up to some of its contemporaries in the fantasy genre. Which makes sense because they're YA novels but still.
I hated that they cut the battle at the end of 6 and that they did so to avoid having two big Hogwarts battles (a moot point since they wound up splitting 7 into 2 parts) and to focus on the love plot with Ginny (whose character they destroyed)
Finished my watch of all the Harry Potter movies. Honestly still enjoyed them all, even if I notice some logical inconsistencies, and they cut a lot from 5 and 6. Deathly Hallows still goes hard, idc.
Never seen Fantastic Beasts. As a book faggot I really enjoy 1-4. 5 and 6 are dreadful for me. 7 I get bored with but thats a fault of the book for including all the camping shit which was boring even there. I'd have to rewatch. I've seen 1-4 several times. I've seen 5-7.5 once a piece
