I'm not saying all re makes are good but of the ones that come out that are good why look down on it because they took a product and updated it? Makes no sense. My favorite movies are this

i'll put it this way: there are times when i see something that i know is an update but i still like the movie. it's rare, but it happens. 'gladiator' is decent. i'd give it a b- or c++. but even if it was a a++ and i'm rating it beside another a++ that's original (like 'fight club'), i'm going with the latter just on principal. the only way i could see 'gladiator' coming up in any "best of" or "top 10" list is if someone just doesn't know any better.
i didn't like fight club. the title is very misleading, barely any fighting in it lol. training day is a much better guy movie IMO. i also like a lot of remakes. it's nice to see a classic get updated with better affects and usually better acting. house on haunted hill, a nightmare on elm street, thirteen ghosts, are all awesome and better than the originals IMO.

anyone see Pirhanna 3D? i've been a creature feature kick lately and im wondering if its any good. if its corny/cheesey that's fine because i love those kinds of movies too. and the sequel is coming out soon so it has sparked some interest in me to see the first one.

Pirhanna 3D was fucking awesome. I was thinking just like you, I thought it was gonna be gay, I ordered it on demand once just out of boredom and it rulledddd hellzzz, i watched it twice that day. I now own a copy of the movie! Fucking most sexy, brutally disgusting awesome movie I seent in a long time. It was the only movie I think I ever saw that left me with a boner and an upset stomach. Whatch it now.
