You guys can argue boring ass articles and opinions all day if you want, I don’t care about that. I’m just trying to track the daily numbers as reported and report what things look like where I’m at day to day and hear about real world shit where you guys are at.
I looked it up earlier and I think it was an average daily death rate of 4,700 US deaths daily in normal times.
A Fareway store like an hour away had five employees get it. They are probably going to shut that store down. We’re gonna lose this because grocery stores still being open.
I am not even wearing a mask when I go out and I have an actual N99 mask with filters that I purchased from amazon last year for a trip to China. I keep a safe distance from people, wash my hands, and don’t touch my face
Yeah, but wearing a mask isn't about keeping yourself safe. its about shrinking the radius you could spread the virus by coughing and sneezing. Its selfish not to wear a mask.

I’m aware that’s the purpose. But then I’d say if you don’t have it, you can’t spread it. And I know you’ll come back with - “you can have it for up to two weeks with no symptoms. Better safe than sorry”. And then I’d just come back with - I’m already social distancing which I think is annoying enough. I’m not going to feed into more of the fear over this pandemic.
Ape is right about those numbers being a little exaggerated i feel. It is probably showing higher because a lot of people not severely sick aren't being tested, and the majority of people getting really sick are 59+.
America will probably have more younger people die though because we are so fucking fat.

Yeah for sure. My worry has not necessarily ever been getting it and surviving. Im mostly worried about the hospitals and their infrastructure. thats where we could see number jump higher.

for fevers at the entrance though.
Very bad odds. 3 of 10 people die.
