The crowd response to playing the cover was night at day difference to playing our original music.
Only like 30 people showed up to the show in general. Most left after the third band (we were last out of five). There were like 10 ish people for us at that start. The second we played Dethklok, all these people rushed in from outside, pits, people singing along, getting into it. The second we stopped and went back to our original music, they left. We played to like 5 people in the end.
Definitely going to start doing majority cover sets once I decide to come off hiatus
For what it's worth the director and Matt Heafy from Trivium also picked bands to be in the movie. So there's a good chance the dude from Trivium jammed a From Those Ashes song

Yea, they picked three bands. I saw the winners lol. They said they might pick more later, but I dont have my hopes up. If Matt Heafy DID listen to my song, I hope he liked it.

We have a link.
They're doing it Battle Of The Bands Style based on how much people contribute to their kickstarter from a unique URL.
So here's ours. If you want to help both Deathgasm 2 become a thing, AND get us on the soundtrack in movie and vinyl, contribute through our link
