See, i automatically associate pop punk with bands like Man Overboard, The Story So Far and Good Charlotte. Sum 41 doesnt sound like those bands, imo. I wont say they're anything amazing, but i can casually enjoy some of their stuff.

Idk I think Sum 41 is honestly a stand out amongst most of those bands. They've actually show growth in their music but have remained true to their roots. I dig em. Does This Look Infected? is a great record.
Sum 41 were tolerable. Green Day have 3-4 good songs. I never could fuck with Blink 182 at all. Offspring, I almost can't even put in the same box. No 2 songs really sounded the same until Original Prankster. NOFX and Rancid are my favorites of the lot. After the late 90s though, fuck all that noise. Bands like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan are stage 4 cancer
1. Twenty One Pilots w/ Judah and the Lion 2. Bastille 3. Mastodon w/ Eagles of Death Metal, Russian Circles 4. Clutch w/ Lucero, The Sword 5. Metallica w/ Volbeat, Local H 6. Sigur Ros w/ Chance the Rapper, Bon Iver, Mac Demarco
Only definite band I'll be seeing today is Mumford and Sons. everything else will be wandering

What about No Doubt? They were basically the first pop punk band.
