Show was great. Fin was solid two person black metal. Didnt really like Sioum, which was instrumental wanker prog, and Strngr's music was good but the dude seemed nervous and kept fucking up, and his show was just him looking at his Mac.
Perturbator was fucking fantastic though.
Next planned is Carpenter Brut in March, but Battlecross is between then so If I have off, Im there.
I dont even know if Im seeing a show for 2 more weeks. feels weird.
fortunately, a handful of great ones just got announced this morning, but theyre mostly not till spring/summer. I get the feeling I wont be seeing a whole lot of shows this year.
Not counting MDF/other fests, that was legit the best death metal show I've been to in a good year or so. Cognitive were solid, but AB were fucking intense. Dan (their guitarist) said they have a new album coming out in the spring, and that they're going to be doing a full US tour after he and Revocation finish that morbid angel tour.
