Mastodon didnt play oblivion, blood and thunder, or roots remain. Granted, they had a 50 minute fest set. I will say, Bill fucking tore it UP. He seemed very energized, and playing the new material seemed therapeutic for him. His growls on March OTFA were fucking nasty. It wasn't the greatest setlist, but this was the best performance they've put on in the 5 times ive seen them.
Gojira, Amon Amarth, Dillinger and Every time i Die killed it today. Soundgarden were heavy as fuck. Only wayched 3 APC songs cuz meh. Best "performance" of the weekend was Frank Carter And The Rattlesnakes.

Setlist was absolute garbage and according to setlist.fm they didn't even play March of the fire ants. But yet you skipped apc touring for the first time in 6 years. Fine fucking journalist.

Frank Carter used to sing for a band called Gallows. His new band is like a halfway point between hardcore/punk and 70's rock n; roll. It's catchy, bass heavy stuff, tons of groove to it. I was really surprised with them and Royal Republic.
