People are speculating that we will see the cameo character in a Kenobi solo film and I dont see how. We've already seen this conflict in the Clone Wars and finish in Rebels. Wouldn't an Obi Wan movie just be a retread of that? Unless they decannonize Rebels.

The difference is when Disney bought Star Wars they claimed every extended universe book and comic from before the purchase was not cannon. That makes sense. Start fresh and if you want to use an old EU story as cannon you can remake it.
They specifically stated Clone Wars cartoon WAS cannon, and then proceeded to make Rebels AFTER the Disney purchase and claim that is cannon too. Why make the Rebels cartoon in 2014 and call it cannon then make a live action movie in 5-6 years later covering the same subject?
Everything you can tell about Obi has been done to death except when hes a kid. And we got that story in the Jedi Apprentice books. Pass.
We've seen him with Qui Gon. We've seen him with Anakin. We've seen him in the Clone Wars in TWO different cartoons. We've seen him with Luke. We've seen him die. The only shit we havent seen is him smoking space hash and wiping his ass on rocks hiding out in the deserts of Tatooine.
So many threads left hanging. I actually loved the series. They need to officially finish the Cad Bane story line, the Zillo Beast story line and Darth Maul (even though that technically finished through a spin off comic) but it sounds like they'll at least wrap that up. I loved the series over all. Had some inconsistencies but overall great show especially the arcs that focused on the Clones. Fuck that episode that starred Padme, Jar Jar and 3PO tho
