What do you think is the album that, if you listen to metal, you have to listen to? Taking in aspects such as said album being a metal stepping-stone, an important metal staple, or just a gem that really represents the genre. One of the ones for me, while being a bit of a cliche answer, is Black Sabbath's "Paranoid" for basically being one of the first metal albums and introducing an entire new way of playing OR "Number of the Beast" from Iron Maiden. Game changers both of em. What say you? Keep in mind it can be a newer release doesn't have to be from the 70's or 80's.
