That's always kind of been there though. The first year they had Underoath, 2010 they had Atreyu, Norma Jean and stuff. The only year I think it was significantly drastic was 2012, where the only band on the side stages that wasn't some sort of -core was Anthrax.
Idc what anyone says, Norma Jean bring it hard live.
I'm not a "fan" of norma jean at all aside from a song or two, but I was very surprised at how sludgy and heavy they are live, they definitely fit the criteria.
There's no fucking way that Rings of Saturn put on a more enjoyable set than Periphery. I disliked Periphery's second album as much as the next guy, but that's fucking bullshit.

The Ocean, Revocation, and DEP are the only bands on that show i actually listen too on album, and very occasionally AAL.
Idc about RoS at all, but they were much tighter as a band, and they didn't bore me to tears which periphery did.

memphis and bayonetwork are great. anti mother as a whole was good. I'd be down to see em headline .
Hmm we usually get the announcement this week every year but I've heard nothing and they didn't even release dates. I don't think they sold Christmas packages this year either. Is mayhem festival dead?
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
