If the Grammy's think they surprised anybody I'd with Daft Punk popping up during Pharell performing Get Lucky, they're a joke. Literally the second I saw the stage setup I was like "oh, clearly Daft Punk is going to pop up behind that blacked out studio looking area"
Vanilla always wins at the Grammys. You find the most boring, overproduced shit ever to hit the radio and they're gonna throw a bunch of awards at it. There were 2 years in the 90's where Beck's 'Odelay' lost to Celine Dion then the next year Radiohead's 'OK Computer' lost to a boring, crusty, irrelevant Bob Dylan record. I stopped paying attention at that point. Every year, it gets worse. The metal category should just be removed because half the stuff they put in there isn't metal and the other half is shit that's usually either a weak effort from some dinosaur band that's days are long passed or old songs like that Led Zeppelin shit.
Yeah, totally, I just think it's funny that the people who are defending the Grammys had the favorite hip-hop album crushed by fuckin' Macklemore. Also, I'm excited to hear Kanye's reaction to that. If I remember correctly I think he was already irate that he only had like 2 nominations.
Besides those two over played radio songs that macklemore album is really good. Idk if he deserved to win all those grammys. Kendrick deserved to win and so did Kanye. Kanye always gets stubbed at the grammys doe.
