He didn't jump last minute. He set the Bat on autopilot at low altitude so he could jump out and not hurt himself. The scene that was shown with him in the cockpit he was still over land. He ejected himself far enough to not get hurt by the blast.

But I am happy he lived and gets to live a normal happy life with Catwoman and have his legend live on through Blake. I am more then satisfied :-B

No, he didn't pretty much die. How much more of an emotional experience would it have been for the viewer if he died? When the fuck has any hero straight up died in a film? But nope, he survived like the hero always does, the day is saved he gets the girl. blah blah

He didnt "pretty much die" sure, Gotham thought he was dead. But he didnt sacrafice himself. How is this a hard concept?

Yea, I had the same expectation. That expectation was surpassed. It was 10x better. If not for Bane alone. Joker was fucking amazing, of course, but he just wasn't as dominant of a villain.

At some parts, yes. I was bothered most when he was speaking in the megaphone during the football game. Other than that, I really liked it.
