Hmmmm well I see this thread has turned really personal now. Anyways I really like the guy. I think he speaks the truth more than any other politician we've seen in decades. I love how he wants to legalize marijuana, stop this war completely, and get our debt recovered and bringing prosperity to this country once more. I really love his idea of isolationism. Foreign policy/affairs need to end for sure. We've spent way too much money over seas relying on other countries for trade such as China ect. It's time we only focus on ourselves and become truly independent like we used to be. Rebuild our economy solely through ourselves with no help from others.
For the issues Leah has about government (which I agree with) what's cool about Ron Paul is that he's addressed the problem of this country is that corporations literally run America, and the government let's them. They have all the money and power. Government invades our privacy way too much, and want to control everything. He wants to abolish both of them. Not entirely of course, but he would literally make their limits/authority dwindle to almost nothing.
For Dayna's issue on abortion (which is understandable completely) now I'm just gonna say that personally I don't think Ron Paul himself would take away that right anyway. I know this had been said many times already in this thread so I apologize. Now let's say he truly was for this, and the act was in the process of being passed. There would be a HUGE revolution against him from women all over the country. I don't think you guys would just let this go silent. Not only would you start a revolution against it, but so would most boyfriends/husbands because they would be expected to support their own wives and girlfriends. So both genders would pretty much rebel, and with all that heat there is no way in hell he would still go forth with the act. it would surely be abolished. I have confidence that no matter what that right will never be taken away.

I know he has said he wouldn't take away those rights, but I do not believe for one second that he is telling the truth. You're the fool for believing a politician really won't impose his beliefs on the law with such a hot topic.
Yeah, that's his plan... Get into politics and build a 30 YEAR repetition about being completely consistent and honest to his views, so he can get elected and then make the world burn.
You get that right? The dude has been in politics since the 80's and has the nickname on the hill as "Dr No" because he is the most consistent politician in the last 100 years at least. While all your candidates are flipfloping depending on who is lining their pockets this year, he stands there consistent.
