No it's considered "theft" if you take it as it is owned by the insurers or whoever owns the goods. Apparently there is a Ford Mustang in one container and $800k of wine in another.....I hope that washes up near me and I can do a night time raid on the beach. So far the beaches aren't toooooo bad as anything getting washed up is uplifted pretty quickly

I wasnt sure when ocean salvage rules take over. Like I know for fact if you stumble upon a sunkin ship with a pile of gold, it's yours. However it does make sense that there would be some sort of time limit on how long you have to claim your goods in a shipwreck sort of scenario.
