ORGY, the reactivated "death pop" band from California, has issued the following statement:
"Due to high demand for new music, ORGY must reschedule the last five dates of their current 'Bad Blood Tour 2012' in Sacramento, Tacoma, Portland, Oakland and Tempe so the band can get into the studio. These markets will be rescheduled for the second leg of the tour, which is expected to begin in the middle of May (exact dates to be announced), along with new markets that the fans have been asking for. The newly reformed band apologize for the inconvenience to the fans but promise the wait will be well worth it. The Hollywood, California rockers are excited to record new music and get a single out to radio before they hit the road again."
" Now that all is right in the world, and Jesse Leach is back in Killswitch Engage (sorry Howard), the only thing left to do is to produce a new album. It appears the band is, indeed, back in the studio to work on the new album. Chris Harris, over at GunShyAssassin, pointed out that when you go to the Killswitch Engage website, the background image is a giant picture of Justin Foley, doing what appears to be tracking drums. Expect a confirmation on this soon."
" Drummer Rhett Davis of the death/doom outfit MORGION has released the following statement:
"It is with great regret that I must inform you all that MORGION must postpone our performance at this year's Maryland Deathfest on Friday, May 25th. Jeremy [Peto; bass/vocals] recently sustained a quite serious neck and back injury, serious enough to where he must undergo surgery and months of physical therapy. Needless to say, we are all very concerned for his health and well-being.Wemust ask you to be patient with us just a lil' bit longer!I do haveto stress this is NOT a cancellation, this is a postponement... Our sincere apologies for this, but the circumstances are quite serious and we hope our fans/friends understand and wish Jeremy a speedy recovery!"
"God of Death & Decay", which features MORGION's earliest recorded material, the "Rabid Decay" and live rehearsal demos as well asthe "Travesty" seven-inch single, will beout in the spring via Dark Descent Records. Cover artwork (pictured below) was done by famed artist Mark Riddick."
