MADISON, Wis. — Authorities in southern Wisconsin are facing a tongue twister thanks to the arrest of Beezow Doo-Doo Zopittybop-Bop-Bop.
The unusually named 30-year-old man was in jail Sunday in Madison. Police say he violated his bail conditions from a previous run-in with the law.
Court records show that his name used to be Jeffrey Drew Wilschke. He legally changed it in October.
The Capital Times reports that Zopittybop-Bop-Bop was arrested last week after residents complained of excessive drinking and drug use near Reynolds Park in Madison. Authorities say he was arrested in another local park last April after police found a loaded handgun in his backpack.
He's tentatively charged with carrying a concealed knife, and possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
Jail records don't list his bail amount or an attorney.
Bill would ban Photoshopped heads on nude, lewd bodies 10:48 am January 9, 2012, by jgalloway
The 2012 session of the Legislature isn’t an hour old yet, but a bill likely to become a water-cooler favorite has already made its debut:
H.B. 680, filed by state Rep. Pam Dickerson, D-Conyers, would make it a misdemeanor to Photoshop an unsuspecting – or heck, even suspecting – individual’s head on the nude or lewd body of another, and posting the image on the Internet.
Such an act would be a misdemeanor punishable by a $1,000 fine or a year in the hoosegow. Read the details here.
There is a presumption in the legislation, of course, that the head would be the offended body part in these cases. No recourse would be offered to Matthew McConaughey’s torso if it suddenly should find itself topped with the head of Mitt Romney.

A Colorado couple charged with stealing evidence from a murder-suicide scene, including sawing the fingers off a corpse to steal a gun, says desperate people do desperate things. "Wait until they're out there freezing half to death," Jerod Reeves, 29, tells KUSA in a jailhouse interview in Grand County, Colo. "Anyone that goes and finds a dead body in the wilderness and sees a freakin' wallet with some cash in it, they're going to take it. I don't care who you are." Reeves, and Kimberly McCaffery, 35, of Craig, Colo., admitted to FBI investigators that they stole money, credits card, gasoline, an iPhone and the gun after coming upon a van with the bodies of William Ahrold and his son Jackson, 9, in Grand County on Dec. 17. Police believe Ahrold killed his son and then himself. Reeves tells Denver's KUSA that they stumbled upon the van and had a hunch something was wrong, but didn't see Jackson's body until they were about to leave. Instead of fleeing or calling police, the couple decided to steal whatever money was in the vehicle, KUSA says. Reeves also decided to cut Ahrold's frozen fingers off so he could get his gun. "I sawed them off with a hack saw," Reeves says. "That was pretty crazy. I'm not really sure. I should have left that there." The couple then fled to Washington state, where they were arrested. Investigators say they initially tracked Reeves and McCaffery through the use of Ahrold's credit cards, KUSA reports . They also used surveillance photos taken of the two using the cards. McCaffrey says the couple was homeless, had no money and was running on fumes. "I did what I had to do that night to survive," Reeves tells KUSA. The couple has been charged with tampering with physical evidence, criminal trespass and abuse of a corpse, and are being held on $150,000 bond in Grand County.
Police identify man arrested in killings of California homeless men
CNN) -- Authorities on Sunday identified a man arrested in connection with a series of fatal attacks on homeless men in Southern California.
Itzcoatl Ocampo, 23, of Yorba Linda, California, was apprehended Friday night after he allegedly stabbed a transient to death in Orange County, said Anaheim, California, police Sgt. Bob Dunn on Sunday.
Witnesses told police they had seen a man stabbing a homeless man, Dunn said. Several witnesses chased the suspect after he fled on foot, he said.
When officers arrived, witnesses directed them to the last place the suspect was seen, and he was detained without incident, Dunn said. The victim's name was not released.
Ocampo is facing charges in the murders of four homeless men, Dunn said.
Dunn would not comment on a Los Angeles Times report Saturday that cited Ocampo's family members as saying he was a former Marine who experienced difficulties after returning from Iraq.
Authorities have been searching for a serial killer after three homeless men were stabbed to death over 10 days last month in Anaheim, Brea and Placentia.
The three men were "stabbed multiple times," Dunn said. "There are some additional similarities between the victims that we are not going to discuss."
The first victim -- a 53-year-old male -- was stabbed on December 20 in Placentia. Eight days later, a 42-year-old man was found fatally stabbed on a riverbed trail in Anaheim. A third victim, 57, was found on December 30 in Yorba Linda.
Police had released a surveillance camera photo of the suspect taken from December 20. It shows the suspect standing a few feet away from the victim, who appears to be lying on the ground next to a strip mall, according to police.
Investigators urged the homeless to stay in groups and avoid sleeping in dark and secluded areas.
Authorities set up a task force to probe the killings, which includes the FBI and the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
News of the arrest came as a relief, said Sue Siegel of Mary's Kitchen, an organization serving hot meals to Orange County's homeless.
"I said, 'Thank God, these guys can try and get some good sleep and try not to worry,'" she said. "But on the streets it's hard to get good sleep anyway."
She said the slayings had the homeless on edge.
"They were kind of not relaxed like they usually are," she said. "They were doing the buddy system while they were sleeping at night. They were buddying up -- one would watch while the other slept, watching each other's backs -- which they never used to do."

Florida Man Guilty of DUI Manslaughter Sues Victim
A man who had pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter stemming from a crash near Tampa, Fla., on Christmas Day 2007 now denies causing the crash that killed three of the four people in the vehicle he hit.
David Belniak has sued the estate of Ray McWilliams, the now-deceased driver of the other vehicle, for more than $15,000, saying it was actually McWilliams who caused the crash by abruptly changing lanes, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
McWilliams initially survived the crash but later died. Belniak was sentenced to 12 years in prison, where he remains.
The money is to compensate Belniak for medical bills, "pain and suffering," and "loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life," according to the suit.
The Times reported that Belniak's attorney, Debra A. Tuomey, who is also his sister, said the government's prosecution amounted to a character assassination and Belniak accepted a plea deal only to avoid risking getting a life sentence in trial.
Tuomey said she wanted her suit, filed last month, to be considered alongside an existing suit brought by the victims' relatives against Belniak, scheduled for trial in April.
In an interview with ABC News, Maureen M. Deskins, who is representing the estate of Ray McWilliams, could think of no tactical reason that might explain Belniak's suit.
"If the jury [in the civil suit] decided McWilliams shared some fault for the accident, they would be allowed to apportion liability accordingly," she said.
Belniak's suit could backfire, she said, inflaming jurors, who might already be sympathetic to the victims of the crash for which Belniak admitted guilt.
"It's hard to wrap your head around," Deskins said.
"There aren't any facts that support the allegation [Tuomey] is making," Deskins added. "That's why the victims' family is breathless" at Belniak's suit.
Six eyewitnesses said McWilliams was stopped a red light when Belniak, at 70 to 90 mph, and never veering or braking, rear-ended him, Deskins said.
The event data recorder in McWilliams' vehicle showed it was not moving at the time of impact, she added. And prior to the incident, citizens had called Florida Highway Patrol to say Belniak had been driving out of control, she said.
Debra Tuomey did not respond to a request for comment.
15 years on nothing but chicken nuggets Docs warn Stacey's fast food diet will kill her
CHICKEN nugget fan Stacey Irvine has been warned they are KILLING her — because the 17-year-old has eaten practically nothing else since the age of TWO. Horrified doctors learned of the teenager's chronic 15-year addiction after she collapsed and was rushed to hospital struggling to breathe.
Factory worker Stacey, who has never touched greens or fruit, was found to have anaemia and swollen veins in her tongue.
Yesterday she was recovering at home after being put on an urgent course of vitamins — which started in hospital with injections. But despite medics begging her to change her diet she STILL cannot get enough of chicken nuggets.
Stacey, of Castle Vale, Birmingham, said: "I am starting to realise this is really bad for me.
"McDonald's chicken nuggets are my favourite. I share 20 with my boyfriend with chips.
"But I also like KFC and supermarket brands. My main meal is always chicken nuggets every day."
Mum Evonne, 39, is battling to get her seen by a specialist.
She said: "I'm at my wit's end. I'm praying she can be helped before it's too late.
"It breaks my heart to see her eating those damned nuggets.
"She's been told in no uncertain terms that she'll die if she carries on like this. But she says she can't eat anything else."
The only variation in Stacey's diet apart from fries is the occasional slice of toast for breakfast — and CRISPS.
She said: "I first tasted chicken nuggets when my mum took me to McDonald's when I was two. I loved them so much they were all I would eat.
"I just couldn't face even trying other foods. Mum gave up giving me anything else years ago."
Exasperated Evonne, a beauty therapist, has two other children — Leo, five, and Ava, three. Both eat healthily.
She once tried starving Stacey to get her to eat more nutritious foods — but to no avail.
Meanwhile her daughter's craving has sparked another headache — where to store all the free toys and novelties she has collected with her nugget meals. They currently fill four bin bags.
Police seeking information about incident at The Greene
Police are looking for a woman and the man dressed in a dark colored hooded sweatshirt who grabbed her inappropriately in one of the parking garages at The Greene late last month.
If police find the man, he’ll be banned from the town center at 51 Plum St. forever, Beavercreek police Capt. Jeff Fiorita told News Center 7 reporter Kate Bartley on Friday afternoon.
If police can find the victim, Fiorita said, the suspect could also face a charge of sexual imposition. The problem is that the victim did not file a complaint with police from the Jan. 28 incident.
Police became aware of the incident through an anonymous call to security at The Greene, Fiorita said.
The incident occurred on the lower level of the Beech parking garage about 6 p.m. Still photos from the mall security surveillance video shows the woman walking toward the breezeway between Victoria's Secret and The Loft when the man walks up behind her and reaches under her jacket to touch her backside.
He then turns and goes up the stairway to the second level of the garage, one of two parking garages at the town center.
He is described as white and in his 20s. He has a thin to medium build, black hair, dark eyebrows, and a mustache. He also was wearing denim jeans and bright white tennis shoes.
“It was daylight,” Fiorita said. “He’d have to be pretty brazen to do that.” In the security video, the man can be seen reaching out to grab the woman. He then “milled around in the garage for a bit before he decided to leave” in a late-model Honda Civic, Fiorita said.
Moments before the incident, the suspect gave one of the security cameras a good picture of himself when he looks right into the lens. “He probably doesn’t realize that while he’s in the elevator, there are cameras in the elevators,” Fiorita said.
Fiorita said he can’t recall any such issues being reported at The Greene in the past.
Friday afternoon, The Greene was busy as usual. Shoppers who spoke with News Center 7 seemed surprised to hear about the incident, but said it wouldn’t deter them from visiting the mall.
“I’ve felt safe, comfortable, said Amy Heiman. “I can’t imagine why they would have problems here. I’ll be here until the day I die.”
