So what you're saying Slap, is that you believe that the theory of evolution is 100 percent accurate in its current form?
It's hard to say that since there are a ton of factors that go into it. I can't point out any rising issues with the theory myself. Overall, I believe the theory that life has evolved through natural selection over the course if millions of years is more correct than any other theory presented to explain life on earth.
I don't really think that's a factor though. My main concern is people denying things like natural selection. Of course in the advent of artificial selection in the last few thousand years (dog breeding has been around for a while), we can't say ALL life is a product natural selection, but about 99.9% is. What bothers me is that it's 2014 and people are still denying scientific fact that's got loads of evidence to support it in favor of lore. I'm not saying that's what anybody in this forum is doing, but it happens and greatly upsets me.
For me, the theory is simply flawed. Too much speculation. Sure there is a lot of "scientific evidence" to support the theory. But in the end its just a theory...
My biggest issue with it stems from the VERY beginning. Where did ANYTHING derive from. Evolution can't explain it.
How about the fact that every land species on earth was once an aquatic species....this alone should blow anyone's mind that doesn't believe in evolution

Do you even know what a scientific theory is?! It's not just speculation MC. This has to be one of the most frustrating things to deal with.
I know this is a bit of a lengthy read, but please check this out if you have any desire to understand why calling it "just a theory" is ridiculous.
And LOL at MC putting parentheses around the phrase "scientific evidence" like he's trying to infer that there isn't mountains of fucking evidence in support of it.
I don't understand why people like you even attempt to have an opinion on a topic that you've shown multiple times to have barely any knowledge of, nor do you seem to have any interest in learning anything about it.
I'm not trying to be a dick but don't you think the theory of god is a little more flawed? You know considering there is no proof of his existence :-??

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/evolution-fact.html That has nothing to do with the theory of evolution. What you're talking about is called abiogenesis, which is a completely separate topic...
