    That's terrible. If a slipknot guitarist is going to be on there it should be Jim, Adrian smith or maiden, dimebag shouldn't be on there, neither should Gus g, and hammet>hetfield and hanneman>king

    Dimebag isn't the best guitar player ever, but he's not overrated. He deserves all the credit he gets. He has his own style and made it legendary, his style is original and Pantera rose to the top through the grunge scene. They kept it metal. I had the luxury of seeing him live and he was terrific. If you haven't seen him live, its hard for you to judge. He is a great guitar player.

    LOL no. Hammet is a wah abusing fuckwad. Hetfield is a more versatile guitarist and I feel he should be in the top ten. Shredding isn't the only way to be a good guitarist. Iommi created the metal riff, and Hetfield perfected it.

    Never said he was the greatest ever, I was a huge pantera fan before dime died, I have a pantera tattoo I got years before he died. I'm just saying they were huge in the metal scene and kept it alive before dime died, if he was still alive, they'd still be extremely popular and people woud still praise and love pantera. Maybe he gets it more cause he dies unjustly, but he's not overrated, he's great. Pantera was huge before dime dies. I remember.
