In response to this being Japan's "fault", I'm pretty sure they had plenty of defense against earthquakes/tsunamis, but it's not really something you can test until it happens.
no.... its their fault for not even looking into using natural resources to power their country. They played with fire; and now its about to burn them; in a really terrible way too.
Because every other country uses natural resources for power, right? I think this is a much more complicated issue than "well they should of just moved it".
That and I think instead of focusing on the past, we should be focusing on the future. There's no way to go back now.
im just trying to say that the tsunami caused most of the damage. i get that they are caused by earthquakes. If there was no tsunami then the whole thing most likely wouldnt of happened. Neither were prepared for the events.
EDIT: i still stand by statement of things happen even if youre in a "ring of fire" you can expect something to happen, you can be prepared for it, but you dont know when it will.
do you understand that I meant the fact that they are on the ring of fire means no matter what they are going to have earthquakes and other disasters therefore they should not have some so unstable built in their country? and you're not being stubborn. you're being a fuckin tard and using your brain.
I get that and i agree about there will always be disasters and the locations couldve been thought out better. But no one can exactly say what events will happen. All we know is a general idea. Like Bottletree said "its not something you can test for until it happens". As for the instability of their energy source, Shane n Strat said it best. Japan needs something that produce a mass quantity of energy and other methods of producing have yet to be perfected. I dont think we're gonna see eye to eye other than Japan needs to get its shit together. Wasnt trying to start anything, debate pretty much snowballed.
Make it an island where we can send most of the horrible criminals to lolololol
azkaban?
No..more like build a cement wall about 20 feet tall around the whole island that's incredebly thick...or use something else more stable. Then just drop em and leave em

But then they could make a man ladder and climb their way out.... Lolz.
China should shoot on site. And if they make it anywhere after getting in and swimming in the ocean then whatever. Could also implant a device so if they leave the island they die in a horrible way...like explosion or electricution
i wonder how gulch is doing with the news of the radiation coming to him
the radiation now is not enough to harm a full grown human, not even kids really. and if the reactors go BOOM the radiation will skip Hawaii all together(predicted anyway)

They have time. If it destroys the island, who cares, but don't let that many people die.
