I'm tired of hearing this shit from people who don't know what they're talking about. Maybe we can fuel up some "Mustaine was the best" or "sellout" arguments. They charge no less than Maiden and they make shows interesting by changing songs every night.
TUPAC IS DEAD/THE LEGEND IS GONE/THEY SAYIN TUPAC'S BACK?/DEM NIGGAS WRONG
James' vocals do not suck. They have been a lot better since 2007.
They don't overcharge. My tickets in 2009 for lower level seats were like 80 total. This came with a copy of Death Magnetic and a digital copy of the audio from the show. Those together would normally cost 20-25 bucks. Which means the seats were basically 60-65 dollars. That's not overpaying for arguably the biggest metal band on the planet.
The vocals DO suck and 60-65 for seats it's too much. Floor would be over 100. Not worth it

Nikko is a better drummer than Lars. Bruce is a better singer than James. Iron Maiden is better than Metallica
I'll check the prices if they come here. Either way, I'm not shelling out loads of money if I don't want to. But like I said earlier, I may go because I'd like to see them. Don't get me wrong, I like Metallica, I just don't like their prices
Also I may go because who knows when I'll get the next chance
Well gee guys, looks like our opinion is wrong! Anyways, looks like I'm one of the few remaining Metallica fans on this board. Sure Hefield's voice isn't what it used to be, but find me one vocalist who's voice hasn't changed even the slightest since the beginning of his career.

Hetfield's has changed so much though
It was blown out in 93, we've had enough time to get over this.
I'd much rather have James' sound different but still good while taking care of his voice than being like Tom Araya who has basically destroyed himself. Sure, it's more "metal", but it won't be so metal when they have to quit within the next 5 years while Metallica continues on for at least another 15.

I know that, thanks.
I said I don't like his voice so you rebuttal with vocalists who haven't changed inthe slightest so obviously I'm trying to tell you that slight changes aren't a big deal but Hetfield's has changed a lot and now he's a country/rock singer

Araya's been going strong for 30 years. I doubt it's really going to stop them from touring

i'm still a Metallica fan. I really like their first four, and think that the black album was just ok. But Load, Reload, and St. Anger sucked. However, Death Magnetic was ALOT better than those three, and a step in the right direction. And lately they havent been playing as many of their crappy songs live. And for that, i am still a fan.
