Santana, pit would not be worth it for any of those bands you listed. All of them do their own tours in clubs and you could see them closer and longer.

Well a lot of these main stage bands could be seen in clubs but pit IMO is just a lot of fun. I'm really hoping only disturbed or godsmack or deftones is on the bill. Not all three

It wouldn't be a lot of fun if you're paying 70+ for one band that you really like playing for about a half an hour and 3 bands you don't care about.

And that's exactly why I would most likely go with lawn. It would be tough to pay $83 for a pit ticket for a 30 minute set from one band I actually care about. Lawn could save me a lot...
