If disturbed, godsmack, and deftones are the main stage bands, I'm going to flip. Disturbed I wouldn't mind seeing but that would only be because I thought the headliner might be SOAD. Deftones is pretty good but godsmack? Meh. And all three combined is just fail. The side stage bands better kick ass
I'd be ok with Disturbed but I would far rather prefer someone else. I've wanted to see Godsmack live since I was 6 but never had the chance, I have also wanted to see Deftones for a few years now.
I'll most likely go to mayhem next year but if the opener isn't a band like devildriver, dimmu, or fear factory, I'll be getting lawn. If the opener is one of those bands then I'll have to think about pit. Idk if it's worth it for deftones, godsmack, and disturbed.
I'm kind of having a feeling that the side stage bands are going to be good this year. The main stage might not be so great but I think the side stage bands could be AILD, possibly dimmu or FF or devildriver, skeletonwitch, cattle decapitation, times of grace, or maybe trivium
Santana, pit would not be worth it for any of those bands you listed. All of them do their own tours in clubs and you could see them closer and longer.
