There's not any actual gunplay in it. The guns are all so similar. The auto aim is insane. It's not really a skill thing. Being good is just knowing the map, the spawns and how to time them.
There's a reason it's not really considered a competitive game. It's for fun. It's not a skill based game really.
Been running the MW3 campaign finally as my side game before I get to the BO6 campaign, jus playing like an hour at a time. Shouldn’t take long since it’s only like 4 hours lmao, perfect as a side thing.
Gave Cyberpunk another shot after abandoning it after two hours a few months ago. It’s…better. Still not great. Open world is pretty repetitive and sort of empty. The twist at the end of act one was awesome though same with the set up with the bio chip. John Wick just showed up
I still remember Jez cordon shilling a 10/10 and then everyone called him out and he said their game sucked because it was son a console and he played pc.
Lmao. Police would literally spawn on the rooftop you were on if you were running from them but okay lol
Decent and better than the broken embarrassing sack of complete dogshit the MW2 campaign was, but still too much missed potential. Most of those “open combat” missions were fucking HORRIBLE and there were way too many of them. There was like….2 enjoyable ones and it’s only cause they were completely stealth. The ones that try to essentially do single player style Warzone are disgustingly bad because the AI are fucking magnetic honing missiles no matter where you go on the map and there is literally no cover whatsoever. Horribly, horribly designed. Other than that, there were flashes of greatness, but yea too few and far between and also too short to give a fuck lmao. Also what the fuck was that ending? I thought this was supposed to be a trilogy and this was the end? Everything about that ending screamed MW4. Not surprising considering Black Ops is now on 6, but bruh I swear they said this was only another trilogy.
5/10. Hype to play BO6 campaign tho now that I’m caught up. Treyarch always does even that better.
I hear that the steam deck might be better for it because of batter life? But it's been a while since I looked into that. The rog x has a bigger battery too.
Has anyone here used steam deck or the asus thing for emulation?
Yea Ally is fantastic for it, was my first true experience wit emulation. It’s powerful enough to run even Switch, so obviously everything before it is fine too. Might struggle on Xenia tho only because it’s notably finicky and one of the only real ways to get it running smoothly is to completely strongarm it wit like a 4090 lmao.
Holy fuck the Rocket Knight games are brutally, unfairly difficult. The hardest games I've played in a while. I legit wouldnt be able to beat them if it wasnt for the Collection's rewind feature
Lian Li too clutch. LCD screen on my AIO shit out but it has a 6 year warranty which they honored no questions asked, and sent out a new one, didn’t even need to send the RMA’d one in. 😤
Good thing is the pump itself still works, so I can still use the PC in the meantime, jus fucks up aesthetics til then lmao.
Also most likely figured out the source of my crashes. It kept randomly either black screen freezing, or simply staying stuck on whatever screen it was currently on, and being unable to do anything other than a full power button shutdown. Wasn’t my RAM, wasn’t my GPU, temps were all staying stable, etc. Well I figured out the LCD, which is plugged into the motherboard thru a USB header, has been on a decline before it officially failed, so basically what was happening was it was randomly disconnecting itself from the motherboard, which for all intents and purposes is basically the same as physically ripping the cord off while the PC is running, which understandably could make shit act up. When it officially failed, the PC no longer detects it, even when unplugging and plugging it back in. Connection is completely dead. And I haven’t had a single fucking crash ever since lmao. Crazy how it was something so simple.
Honestly, granted I didn’t play a lot of 2024 big hitters yet like Astro Bot, FFVII Rebirth, Silent Hill 2, Space Marine 2, Etc., but so far Black Ops 6 is my GOTY. Absolutely fucking addicted to this game. Campaign wise I’m still catching up on 2022 and 2023 games lmao so it’ll be a while before I can give a definitive answer on that, but yea this game is fucking fantastic.

Was just watching videos of dudes gltiching the bus on nuketown and just straight up shoting right through it lol.
You'd think after having that map in the game for 15 years they would be able to get it right lol

I haven't played in a year or two, but even then it was much better than launch but still shit.
Man they really missed on that one. Hopefully the next one is better. I still found parts of it a lot of fun, but overall miss hard.

That thing is a beast. Was great for it.
