Yeah because no mans sky mixed with fallout and over 1000 to explore, is completely generic lol
Finally watched the starfield stuff from today. Rex my dude this is going to be another No Man's Sky or Elite Dangerous. The planets are definitely going to be generic lol its all procedurally generated. Just like No Man's Sky people think that having a ton of planets means they are all going to be unique and all have different biomes and animals and civilizations but unless Bethesda has advanced that technology by 10-20 years its just going to be slight variations of the same like 10 planets.
Idk. Ive out well over 100 hours into NMS , and while its not perfect, its staggering how much there is to do in that game. Obviously 1000 plates fully fleshed out is impossible, but im sure there are plenty that created for the story that are great.
My favorite part was the character customization and the create your own ship part. What they showed while short looked cool.
Im not sitting here and claiming that these games are the goat 100%, im just saying the press conference did a good job of creating hype. What they showed on the game looked good. Im just pushing back on the negativity.
Me and my friends have this saying. We call it BDO.
It means broke day one. Id say just about every game falls into this category these days lol
Divinity: Original Sin is a really good RPG. I played for hours yesterday with barely any combat, just running around in the first town. So many quests can be completed through dialogue and investigation, like a mystery. It's really cool to see.

its basically all of Todd Howard's games mashed up together with mass effect and no mans sky influences on a huge scale. Take my fucking money.
