Jus got Saints Row The Third Remastered for literally $3.96 lol.
It’s on sale for like $13 on Amazon, but I had a $10 credit cause of a pricing fuck up from a while back, so it ended up $3.96 after applying that.
Had been considering copping the remaster cause I never played the original but I fucked wit 4 heavy. I like how ridiculous it is. But I didn’t because I already have such a big backlog to catch up on. Ain’t passing on it at $4 tho lmao.
It really felt like the second one maxed out what was possible for the ps2. Picking up right where you left off on a new system with so much more capabilities was a unique experience that also enhanced the game experience for me.

100% And you can feel it in combat too. Seamlessly switching between weapons to string combos where you would have had to enter a menu to swap them out previously was amazing.
I'll definitely play the ps2 era ones when I get a laptop that can run the Psx emulator. I played the PS4 port of GOW3 and it was fun but I missed the story beforehand.
I just listened to the God of War 2018 novelization audiobook and it was good but you could tell it was a video game lmao. "Oh wow, we're just randomly running into this guy who's gonna upgrade your dead wife's axe for a third time!"

All six classic God of War games, done. On to 2018.
