Im getting addicted to grounded. Its a really cool game. Just like ark, but much more up my ally than arc. If you have game pass you should try it out.
Finished Arkham Origins. Ooh boy. So, I can now put into perspective why Arkham Knight dramatically shifted its game play. Even though playing as Batman is fun as shit, this gets stale. Shame Knight couldn't find a balance. Dont get me wrong, its still fun but its bland as shit at this point. The world is also alot uglier and its a random mess of boring colors and uninteresting environments. I know this was a different team than the main Arkham games but still. The voice acting is amazing and Baker does a great job as Joker. Aside from that though man this game tanks. The story starts off amazing and I was very hooked about 8 assasins being hired to kill Batman. But by the mid point of the story, they completely abandon it for Joker shenanigans which was so disappointing. Half the assasins become side missions. I just don't understand why when you have Black Mask, Bane, Deadshot, Deathstroke and even more, they're ditched for a typical Joker story. Idk if its just my copy but I dealt with frame drops the entire game and it was so annoying because it would then lag the combat and I would miss counters that I know I hit. Also, I seriously don't understand why this is a prequel. There is no benefit to it being one. And that wraps my Arkham game play. Two amazing games (Asylum, City) and Two really mediocre ones (Knight, Origins).
Yeah I fell in love with it, but like half way through the game, Joker comes in and it becomes a Joker/Bane team up story. You literally fight Black Mask, Shiva and Deadshot through skippable side missions. Your first fight with the Electrecutioner is played for laughs. You punch him once and he goes down and then he swears revenge and Joker kills him later. So essentially half the roster was wasted. I would have so much preferred that to another Joker thing. I really don't care lol was far more interested in Black Mask.
Beat Code Vein n got the platinum. Took 58 hours/1st run of the game took 36. Went in for anime souls got anime souls. The combat kinda sucks. I like that there are a ton of blood codes/classes so u can customize your play style. It's lame how enemy have unlimited stamina n ichor/magic. Even if you use your gifts/magic attacks to limited them it barely works. Level design is shit as well. Lastly fuck how parrying work s in this game. 7/10
