While the University of Michigan has one of the most storied college football programs in the country, as a state I definitely admit Michigan football below the college level isn't as big a deal as it in in the South. Texas, Alabama, etc. have crazy high school programs. Not to say our state doesn't have homegrown talent, but it isn't nearly the same on the high school level. There's a reason Michigan recruits Ohio talent just as hard as their own state.
The south is much different about football hell in south carolina they would make us choose clemson or gamecocks colors and split the school in half for rivalry week
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
Heck, a high school playoff game I went to in '06 had over 46,000 people in attendance. It was the second round, not even the state championship.
I was there \m/
Also got to see Matt Stafford play in high school at Texas Stadium.
Oh and I've never seen Allen's stadium before, good god almighty.
The Trinity/Southlake game this year did not disappoint either. I had a lacrosse game in Allen last year and got to drive by it while it was still under construction. That place is enormous. I really want to go back home next fall just to see a game there

Seen those, but both uniforms are awesome. I believe the sleeves for Army have something to do with the Battle of the bulge. I like Navy's a bit more though
