Im going through an external harddrive and finally readding all my music back to my computer from when it crashed a few years ago. So much old music from like 2009/2010, and older that i downloaded around that time. A lot of black and folk metal that I discovered from talking to Strat, and Shane, and Wine on here at the time. Takes me back.
if you were the hiring manager at a company for a decent-paying position (nothing special, but one which requires a college degree), and you interviewed a candidate who had to resort to a job at a gas station or something (a low-tier job) because they simply couldnt receive callbacks for semi-respectable positions, do you view their employment with said low-tier place like the gas station as a strong negative, making them look like a shitty dirty person... or do you understand their struggle and respect their hustle just to make money to make ends meet in the meantime?
I respect the hustle and drive, an appreciate that a "gas station" job isn't viewed as beneath them. It shows that entitlement isn't much of an issue. It also shows some basic problem solving skills and results orientation solutions. Too many people need their damn hands held when problems arise. You needed a job, so you went out and got one, instead of sitting around waiting for it to show up. That is also huge. When problems arise at work, I want the people that figure out how to take care of it, not those who sit around and wait for it to work itself out or for somebody else to take care of it.
@gnomez , that band thats enormous in your country and europe called biffy clyro are playing my favorite venue here, but its a fucking 500 cap bar. didnt they headline download festival? )))))))))))))
@OPP they're not that huge here. I saw them in a venue that held 2000 max. But they're massive in the U.K. And Europe and are playing download and rotr
